These tablets are very hard to find especially in Canada. My mother has sufferd from a sodium deficiency for quite some time as she doesn't eat salt. She doesn't even cook with it. About every 18 months or so she would end up hospitalized with a sodium deficiency. Our son found these tablets where he lives in California so every visit I would bring some home for her. We convinced her to take one a day and it has worked out to be sufficient. Now she is in a senior home and we give the tablets to the nurses who put one a day in with her other medication under doctors permission of course. Hard to believe how one of these tablets a day has helped her out in life.
I have just discovered these on Amazon which is going to make life a lot easier for our son, his wife and myself. Thermotabs Salt Supplement Buffered Tablets 100 ea

I'm really allergic to excessive heat,and when I have to work outdoorsin the summer,well, I need one to keep me feeling good long enough to get the job done..thanks
