I have three small children and do not like to give them medicine all the time, especially for the common cold (unless it is warranted). I find these Flowing Vapors really help them. We turn it on when they go to bed. They don't cough as much during the night which means they sleep better/longer (I sleep longer/better) and they feel better sooner. I really think they work! I totally disagree with the other reviewer.

i HAVE TWO SMALL KIDS UNDER THE AGE OF 2 AND THIS ITEM REALLY WORKS. MY KIDS CAN SLEEP BETTER AT NIGHT THUS, I CAN SLEEP BETTER. ITS NOT TOO STRONG SO ITS PERFECT FOR YOUNG KIDS.

These are only really useful if you use them with the TheraFlu Flowing Vapors Vapor Fan they fill. They aren't medicated, they don't have all that powerful a smell, and they just aren't much use unless you're just looking for the smell of eucalyptus. At least they come with a replacement holder to go in the fan incase you somehow broke the original. I got no benefit at all from these.
