Great, until they changed the shape of the dropperDec 15, 2009
By mlm My work requires constant computer use and I live in a cold climate so the central heating is almost always on; both of these lead to extremely dry eyes. I tried just about all of the preservative free-drops and decided these were best for use during the day. They are not thick, but they lubricate well.
Though it is not recommended (and I am NOT suggesting you try this!) my ophthalmologist said it was okay to reseal preservative-free drops if your hands are clean, no part of the dropper touches the eye and any unused product is tossed within 24 hours. You used to be able to do that with these drops, but no more. They changed the dropper so it can't be resealed. It also has a new shape, almost like a bent crochet hook, and the drops sometimes do not want to flow out. I feel like I am going to gouge my eyes out with the dropper because it is awkward to use. If you are environmentally conscious, the vials are placed in separate foil packages (that isn't new, though it is perhaps unnecessary).
Clearly, I am very disappointed that they changed these drops. Though I still love the formula and think it is effective, I now use Systane.

Love the product, hate the tipMay 17, 2011
By buntbean I've had severe dry eye for 6+years now. I've used preservative-free thera tears this whole time. They started out with a sturdy little vial that had a resealable tip. Now they've extended the tip with a long "neck". When I open the vial it is sometimes still sealed shut. Other times it just squirts everywhere. It's such a waste. Many people are complaining but Advance Research isn't doing a thing about it. I guess we need to log more complaints. E-mail address: info@theratears.com

By Frances Brown I love these eye drops! I find they are the most soothing while not leaving any feeling of residue in my eyes.

pretty happy with itMay 17, 2011
By AyAK I had eye surgery and was given one pack of these drops. One I added the drops in my eyes, it was like splashing cold refreshing water in my eyes. I can see clear and my eyes were refreshed. Thing is, once I ran out, I got more but the bottle shape is different. Its awkward tilting the bottle to I wouldn't scratch my eyes. Still it works well. I like that I can carry packets in my purse, since I always lose the bottles.

This seller takes way too long to ship your purchase. The product is a good dry eye product.
