Stunning resultsMar 31, 2011
By Sillymuppett I am pale with freckles, need I say more? I have only had 3 tanning bed visits so far but the reviews that this product got had me ordering the dark lotion. I must say it is incredible!! I ALWAYS mix my self tanner with regular lotion for an even tan, I learned this years ago. I normally mix it 1 to 3 in the palm of my hand and then smooth over body in a circular motion. The dark results are to die for, no orange and no streaking. I will buy again and again!!! It looks natural.

sunless tanMay 22, 2010
By S. Schmid This moisturizing sunless tanning lotion tans in about 3 days which is shorter than some other's I have tried. Pleasant odor - no chemical smell. Natural looking tan and you can control by using more often. To speed up the process I used in the am and pm for the first couple of days - worked well.

Good even for us very pale galsApr 30, 2011
By originalwit I use self-tanners almost exclusively for my legs, particularly in those early weeks of Spring when it's suddenly time to wear shorts. I am very fair-skinned and always thought that meant I had to use products for fair skin only. I've used Vaseline and Dove and they took a long time to work and even then, weren't very dark. This L'Oreal product is SO much better. I used the idea mentioned by another reviewer of combining it with lotion (about half and half in the palm of my hand), since I am so fair, and I saw results immediately. Natural-looking ones. No waiting for a week to see some tiny result. I used the lotion full-strength between the bikini line and shorts-length where I tend to be paler and get that goofy shorts-tan. This worked very well. Oh yes! It does smell nice too. I am so pleased to find this product at a price I was willing to pay (under seven bucks). If you're pale you may need to experiment a bit between diluted-with-lotion or full-strength, depending on where you apply it. I tried it full-strength on the tops of my very pale winter feet and they just looked dirty, so back to the diluted version.

Good product for the moneyApr 04, 2011
By Nanette I've tried numerous self tanners and come back to this one. Bought originally at closeout and bought a few bottles, but when I ran out and couldn't get again, I ordered on-line. It was so addicting because I loved having a tan, even in the winter. The Sublime Bronze and works well and blends in nicely, so you don't get streaky. Of course you have to be careful around the ankles and knees or you will get patches of dark. I do this once a week or so and use a "natural glow" moisturizer the rest of the time to keep up the tan. The price is good in comparison to other products I've tried and doesn't have too freaky of a smell. I recommend it, but it does get blotchy after a few days, so have to keep it up. I wear shorts almost all year round and I love having a tan without the sun damage!
