Our dermatologist gave me a sample of Solbar Liquid for my son to use with his Retin A. Great product! It is not greasy and the liquid is not heavy...yet my son can be out in the sun all day without getting burned. Perfect for the teenager! It almost melts onto your skin. I tried it over my moisturizer and found it made my moisturizer flake off...very weird. But when I used it alone I was impressed how fast it dried and how long it lasted! We really like the stuff!

This is the best sunscreen I have ever used. I am a lifeguard and got a sample of solbar from my dermatologist and think that it works great! I have always had problems with oily skin and feel like most sunscreens feel like another layer of grease on my face, but solbar goes on and feels like i'm not even wearing any sunscreen

Had tried this as a sample from dermatologist's office. This sunscreen is non-greasy and absorbs fast. It is especially good for using on the face.

Even though most sunblocks/screens claim to be non-oily, non-greeasy... they feel like a mask on your face and leave a white, unappealing residue on your skin. I HATE it. On the face, they give the appearance of wearing really bad makeup. This is the first product i have tried that is a clear gel and dries up almost instantly. there's a little bit of a smell; rubbing alcohol type, but it's bearable and goes away quickly. I'd rather deal with the slight smell than having that gunky feel to my flesh. Fantastic product!!!!!!!

I have very fair skin that burns easily and quickly. I have been using this product for a little over a month and I haven't gotten burned at all this summer. I can put it on, and forget about it. I can go in and out of the water multiple times, and haven't had to worry about reapplying. It doesn't stain my clothes or make me feel sticky. This product goes on smooth and leaves my skin soft and smooth looking. This sunscreen is the best sunscreen I have ever used. The only negatives is that sometimes it will bunch or create little bits of skin (think when your skin is peeling after a sunburn). It also has a subtle alcohol smell when you first put it on. You can wear this sunscreen on your face- but initially the alcohol smell is a little strong.
