5A refreshing shock.Jan 29, 2010
By Doria K
The first time you use this eye drop it may feel as if your cornea and sclera just iced over. It hurts just slightly, and feels cold enough to sort of burn, but it's not a very bad pain at all. It's brief and once it's passed, your eyes feel like they've just had a sort of tune up. The clarity that was lost from allergies or tricky contact lenses is returned and well lubricated!

5Best eyedrops I've usedMar 28, 2012
By Talia
I had read some years ago about the existence of mint eyedrops. After a couple weeks of this current spring's allergy season and the itchy, gritty feeling it produced in my eyes, mint eyedrops sounded perfect for me. I did a web search and found this brand, and after some research decided the 'arctic' intensity was the right one for me.
When putting the drops in, I wouldn't describe the feeling as pain, just a cold/minty feeling. Eye waters for a minute or so after applying, so keep a tissue handy. I admit I was a little disappointed that the minty feeling didn't last longer; in under three minutes it seems to be entirely gone. However, my eyes were definitely less dry and less gritty feeling after application, and I was actually amazed at how white my eyeballs looked - I've tried Visine and other eyedrops and never really noticed a lot of change in the redness from them. The whitening effect lasted about 4 hours.
I suspect I'll be using these for the rest of allergy season, and maybe before a night out to improve the look of my eyes. I am unsure at this point if I should try to go up to the next step of mintiness (the 'ice' variety) or if I should forget the mint and go down a grade to 'cool.'

5Amazing! - If you can handle the cold.Mar 09, 2012

It's just like popping in one of those little CERTS that were maybe the size of a pencil eraser but made your entire mouth freeze over with mint. Your eyes will feel cold, maybe to the point it's considered painful. Your eyes will water for a minute or so. After that, your eyes feel like eyes should. I tried the blue ones first, it's a little milder and my girlfriend loves them. These are a little more intense. I use them very frequently and still have ~ 4/5ths of a bottle left after almost 2 months, so you get your money's worth.

5Excellent Product!Oct 20, 2011
By Shea Wilson
I'm very pleased with this purchase. I work in an office and am in front of a computer for most of the day (I'm both a contact and glasses wearer). This provides great relief for tired, strained eyes. It does burn a little like getting salt water in your eyes, but with a much more tingly feel. It's very refreshing and cooling, very much worth it. One drop is more than plenty for me, just make sure you're either wearing waterproof mascara or no make up when applying. It is very intense, and until you acclimate you may blink most of it out the first few times.

4Cool and Refreshing!Oct 11, 2011

This product has always provided cool and instant relief of my dry eyes. It stings a bit at first, but the pain is worth it!
