Great taste, extra protein, no HFCSFeb 21, 2010

I had never heard of Premier Protein, so I took a gamble in buying these bars. It paid off. The bars provide an extra 10 grams of protein vs. the others I've tried (Clif Builders and PowerBar ProteinPlus). All of the bars taste good. These are more "rich and gooey" whereas the others are more "crisp and crunchy." I prefer these somewhat. Also, they have no high-fructose corn syrup, which is nice.

The best I've foundFeb 01, 2011
By Obsessive shopper I consider a lot of things when I buy protein bars. One thing I look at is the ratio of grams of protien to calories. Another thing I look at is the price per bar. These ones are pretty much the best on those factors.
What's surprising is that they also beat almost all of the others on taste and texture. These taste MUCH better than the average protein bar. They are really quite good. My eight-year-old was sneaking a piece the other day. She apparently thinks they are candy.

Great tasting and efficient for the priceJul 18, 2010
By Alexander G. Good Don't let the fact that someone's 10 year old son probably designed the packaging for these bars. They're on par with Detour bars in terms of taste (almost), and pack a 30g protein punch all for less money than most of the leading brands.
They used to sell these in Sam's Club, you might be able to find some there for even cheaper. Still, these bars are a good deal overall. The only problem is they'll make you extremely thirsty so keep some water on hand. If you're wolfing down protein bars chances are this won't be a problem though.

They taste like candy bars -- really!Aug 18, 2011
By Guido Ferro These taste amazing for being protein bars. Though if you're sensitive to soy protein, you may need to step outside for relief throughout the day if you get my meaning... :-) I would purchase them again from this vendor, but Sam's Club has the same product for under $14. Enjoy!

When hunting on Amazon for a meal replacement bar, I read lots of reviews and picked this product on the basis of those reviews.
And I was not disappointed. For the protein content this is the best bar out there in my opinion.
Only one downside; the case comes with one vanilla flavor, and two VERY chocolatey flavors. Since I like to eat these bars instead of breakfast, I wish there were more choices than chocolate, chocolate, chocolate. The yogurt/peanut one is the only one I totally love for breakfast.
I wish there were some fruit flavors.
