Under-performerSep 07, 2010 This model is not worth the low price unless you're looking for a second unit for travel purposes for occasional use. The shaver is slower than my previous Norelco model which lasted over a dozen years. Yes, the 7310XL is quiet, but that's because of the slower rpm. Slower rpms translates into a longer time shaving, and perhaps, a poorer cut.
HorribleSep 06, 2010 Horrible razor. Pulls and you have to go over 10x's for it to be a reasonable shave.
Not as good as the last model I ownedSep 05, 2010 This unit is lightweight and feels cheaply made. It is "head" heavy and not balanced. The last model I had from Norelco was a 5801XL and it felt like a sturdy model. It lasted for many years.
This current model cuts well, but the blades are abrasive and especially so when shaving the moustache area (bottom of nose feels raw after shaving).
I would not buy this model again.
Gives a nice, close shaveSep 05, 2010 I have been a Norelco user for 40 years. My old one of 8 years was no longer giving a good shave (Yes I did replace the rotery blades and a recharge was only lasting 2 shaves), so I replaced it with this one. I was a little aprehensive about buying it as the price was inexpensive compared to other Norelco razors. However, it is very good...a good close shave.
Great buy!Sep 04, 2010 I bought this product because I have very sensitive skin and I continued to get a few cuts every time I would shave with a razor. I bought the newest and greatest razor and still had problems. I got this for $40 and I have loved it ever since. It took about ten days for my skin to adjust to it, but I haven't had any problems since, other than a little razor burn every once in a while.
I work with the Air Force and I not only have to be shaven, but I can't be showing any time of "shadow" in uniform. This razor does the job.
For the price, this is the razor I would recommend. If you have $80+ to spend, you can get a better one. But for half the price this one is great!
