I was/am interested in improving the health of my skin (and decreasing my acne) by taking Vitamin A supplements. However, after research, I learned that we humans don't have a very large gap between taking too little and taking too much Vit-A. Therefore, I decided to switch off the raw Vit-A tablets I was on, and onto Beta-Carotene, and save myself from possible organ failure.
This brand of Beta-Carotene isn't as effective in keeping my skin healthy as was the raw Vit-A (of the same brand). That's why I give it a B+. My skin still looks healthier while taking this (one capsule a night) compared to not taking it.
One note on vitamin overdose: More people are killed by lightning in the US each year, than die from vitamin overdose. Tens of thousands of people die in the US each year from medical complications and prescription drug complications. Just sayin', make sure you know where to place your fears.

Have been using it for years during spring and summer' give me a very nice skin color, while going under the sun to get tan.
