great for people who have had bariatric surgeryAug 16, 2011
By L. Shafiq These sublingual B12 vitamins are really good. I had gastric bypass surgery (2 years ago) and now need to get my B12 sublingual as the first part of my small intestine is now gone and that is where the body digests and absorbs this vitamin. Hence the need to get it 'sublingual' so that it is absorbed directly into the body as it dissolves under the tongue. I have looked for this supplement many times, but sublingual B12 is not easy or inexpensive to acquire. My husband found this brand for me and it was great. Great strength, great taste, and a great price! Then we moved and the search was on again. After paying much more for another brand that was also lower strength.. I turned to 'ole reliable' - Amazon. There it was and a dual pack at a really good price. I'm set now for another year!

Worked for meOct 23, 2011
By Margaret Picky B12 is a water-soluble vitamin that is stored in the body but I had been getting insufficient B12 for quite some time as I don't eat much animal flesh. My B12 levels were so low that my internist was going to make me take injections and my neurologist was very upset as well because B12 deficiency can cause permanent, irreversible central and peripheral nervous system impairment. I didn't want to have to take injections so I asked if I could try oral B12 and my internist said that not everyone can absorb B12 through the digestive system but he would let me try until my next appointment but then I would have to start injections if my levels weren't okay by then.
A friend who lives in a town with a Sam's Club (Member's Mark is their house brand) sent me two bottles of these tablets, although it seems that the same supplement is marketed under different labels. I started taking them 4-6 times a day and in about four weeks my B12 levels were normal so I was able to avoid the injections. Now I take one a day for maintenance.
These are small tablets, about the size of an aspirin, that dissolve under the tongue in just a few seconds. They have a nice cherry flavor that I actually enjoy. There are 200 in each bottle for a total of 400 so there are enough tablets to get your B12 level normal and maintain it for about a year if oral (really sublingual) B12 will work for you. If you have a B12 deficiency, this is certainly worth a try.

Read the ingredientsApr 11, 2012
By Handa We received this product a couple of days ago. I was very happy with the potency and the price. Today I read the ingredients. I had assumed that it was a natural product so I hadn't bothered reading the ingredients right away. when I did I found mannitol and sucralose, both toxic drugs that I would never knowingly give to my children. If I can I will return them and if not they are going in the garbage. Do your research before you buy "vitamins"!
