still irritating for latex-sensitive user, and marketing/packaging misleadingJan 17, 2011
By Julie Mickens I'm very latex-sensitive. Tried these once, thinking they were similar to the polyurethane condoms which don't cause a dermatitis reaction. However, I did get a pretty bad dryness, flaking skin, redness, burning reaction that lasted for two months (Cortisone OINTMENT, not cream, with vaseline + cortisone as the only ingredients finally cleared it up.) Polyisoprene is simply synthetic (non-natural) latex -- it's still basically latex. If you have sensitive skin, I personally would recommend sticking with polyurethane.
I would give two stars if I didn't find the marketing and packaging so misleading. However, bad reaction + misleading marketing yields just one star.
I feel a little self-conscious writing a public condom review, but I don't want anyone else to have my painful experience!

My favorite condom now.May 21, 2009
By 5s These are now my favorite condoms. I still gave it 4/5 stars, because it still just does not feel as good as going bareback. They are much more comfortable and sensitive than latex, and better than my old favorite - Trojan Supra . I found the Supras were a little too tight and didn't provide full coverage. These go on easy and still provide sufficient pleasure for me and for her.
Also, the Trojan Supras broke on me once or twice over the last 2 years, whereas these seem to be very strong and durable. I believe LifeStyles claims that Polyisoprene is actually more durable than latex.
Here's a good site with more reviews and info on these condoms. http://condomunity.com/lifestyles-condoms/polyisoprene-skyn-lifestyles-condoms/
