Couldn't get through summer without itJul 17, 2010

If I'm not clearing brush on the farm or walking the puppy, I'm watering plants, it seems. Chiggers, mosquitoes and every other bug in Virginia seem to find me and although I try to use repellants reliably, I never seem to be completely free of itchy bites. After trying countless other products unsuccessfully, I found the spray version of Ivy Dry, which works really well, but since not every area is suitable for spray I bought the cream also. It, too, works reliably to eliminate the itching.
Fortunately, I had it on hand when I got poison ivy recently--the first time I've had it in ages. It was in an area where the cream was a better choice than the spray and within a week, the rash had dried up and was fading away. I had to reapply the cream daily, but otherwise almost forgot I had the rash at all. That's shocking considering how badly I've been affected in the past, with the rash spreading and causing all manner of misery.
I can't tell you how much I value this product and recommend it highly.
