If you have the GG 1000 unit and the blue light gets dim or turns orange colored, time to buy a new bulb. Also make sure to use a can of compressed air to blow all the dust out of the unit when switching the bulbs. The bulb is very easy to replace. One screw on the back of the unit and the top pops off. Next time I will replace the bulbs BEFORE flu season! (lesson learned)

The items were factory type replacement items and were just as advertised. However, the shipping was outrageous. I ordered 5 light bulbs and they charged me shipping on each one. About a $25.00 order and about $24.00 shipping. I would never order from this company again for that reason.

Replacement for the original bulb. Price was fair and bulb was easy to replace. The Original lasted about 8 months. I dont know if this product really prevents airborne diseases but doesn't hurt to have it.

The bulb was easy to replace, and has been working very well. This was kind of a relief considering some people have had problems with these bulbs. The original bulb lasted for over a year, hoping this one will also have a long life. The only down side is that these bulbs are very expensive.
