Cool, soothing pain reliefFeb 26, 2011

Flexall Maximum Strength is an amazingly effective, penetrating pain-relieving gel. This topical analgesic consists of menthol (16%) in an aloe vera base, complemented with eucalyptus oil, peppermint oil, methyl salicylate, and thyme oil. Flexall is a thin white gel that rubs in quickly without a visible trace, and the benefits are almost immediate.
The cooling effect is different than the hot/cold feeling of products like IcyHot or Aspercreme (both made by the manufacturers of Flexall). I tend to prefer this sensation because it's quite tolerable over time. Muscle soreness, tendon pain, carpal tunnel symptoms...they all respond quickly to the pain-relief of Flexall!
I happen to like the smell of this product, and don't mind the scent of topical analgesics in general. While it's not "odor-free," it's a mild scent and well worth the trade-off for pain relief. Keep in mind if you're allergic to aspirin, there's methyl salicylate in this product.
Excellent, cooling pain relief--Flexall should be in everyone's medicine cabinet.
