A must have for physical therapy. I have M.S. and this keeps my legs/arms moving when I'm too weak or fatigued to do it myself. I saw this item on another site for $169.Easy to lift and position. I find other family members using it too! Great product.

Buyer bewareOct 26, 2011
By R. Hawkes The Paradigm 7101 ACTIVcycle Motorized Exercise Cycle is working OK but there are a couple of things of which potential buyers should be aware. 1. Amazon says the device has a 1-year warranty. The 1 year applies to the frame only which should last indefinitely. The manufacturer warrants the rest of the cycle for only 90 days so any electrical or mechanical failure after that period will not be covered. 2. Amazon claims the cycle can be pedaled without the power on. The manufacturer's manual says not to do this because it could result in damage. 3. The straps supplied were much too short- I could only get my toes in them and when I turned on the machine the heels of my shoes hit the frame and the cycle flipped onto its side! I have been using without the straps and have encountered no foot or cycle slippage. 4. I wrote Paradigm about 1, 2 and 3 and got no response.

By Robert H. Mariner Although I have not had the unit long I find it very good for exercising my right leg, had a complete knee replacement, during the Winter. A brought it up to my surgeon and he was very pleased with the unit. It was very easy to start using.

Great little cycle machine!Jul 02, 2010

A year after total knee replacement, I was looking for a cycle machine to keep my knee flexible. A recumbent bike was suggested by my orthopedist. Where in the world would I put one? I found this motorized exercise cycle at Amazon.com and thought it would be perfect. It is! I use it for 45 minutes every day, and my knee feels 100% better than it did before I got the machine.
I wouldn't think that this cycle would be good for someone who wanted to build quad muscles as there is little resistance. It's great for flexibility.
