I found this product when I was in the service stationed in Orleans, France. I have been using it ever since 1963 when I can find it. You could find it in the stores once upon a time but now I finally found it at Amazon. Please keep it on the market if I am the only one using it. You can't imagine what this product does for your skin after shaving!! Smooth, easy on and no rough edges! Thanks for stocking it.

Here's the trick. before you start shaving, pour some into a container and let it air while you are shaving. Then after you are finished shaving, clean up and then take the after shave that you pour and use that. My grandfather was a barber and he always let his customer's favorite after shave "air out" before using it. He never used it straight out of the bottle because it would be too strong. Gentlemen, try using it this way, and I guarantee you will love this sense. LET IT AIR OUT AND USE 1/2 OF WHAT YOU WANT TO USE. That's the secret.

It was great to find one of my old favorites Clubman Pinaud Lilac Vegetal. I am a man who only goes to a real barber shop and avoid "hair stylists" like the plague. In all my 63 years I went to a hair stylist once, the day before I got married 40+ years ago and will never do that again! I used this product years ago and thought it had vanished but low and below I stumbled on this item and ordered it. As soon as I recieved the package I open the bottle and boy it was just as I remembered! I have worn this twice to the office and both times got many compliments! Also told my barber about it and he is looking to order some as he thought this product was no more. Good old barber shop scent!

It's been so long, I'm not sure this reality will ever live up to my memory. The fragrance seems to be a bit subdued to what I remember, but it's pretty good. It does the job.
I used this from my youth through my 40's. Then, it disappeared from the shelves. Now, some decades later, I see it's CLUBMAN PINAUD... when I last remembered it, it was on PINAUD...

I have used Lilac Vegetal for about 40 years since I was in college and say their ad in Playboy, so I'm not new to the rodeo.
Anyhow, the latest product seems to be a new formula with mych less "lilac" and more of a "paint thinner" fragrance.
