Hard to findFeb 07, 2010

No longer anywhere to be found in the grocery stores, these little Chiclets are just perfect in taste and size. Every year my sister requests them as her birthday gift. She and I agree, they're the greatest. Whenever I visit my grandchildren they want to know if I have Chiclets, and of course I do. They never see them anywhere except when Grammy comes to visit. A special treat.

I purchased the Chiclets Gum for a dear friend after she told me she can't find it any more. I told her I would send her some from where I live. However, I couldn't find it either. It's not sold in any of the major grocery stores, pharmacies, or variety stores like Target or WalMart.
I went to Amazon.com and was able to purchase Chiclets Gum through the Cadbury Adams company. I was happy to be able to send it all on to my friend who was delighted. She got it on Valentine's Day which made it even more special. I wish the Cadbury Adams company would have a wider distribution. The public still loves the gum and would buy it if it were available. Thank you for your helping me find it.

I can't eat anything that contains artificial sweeteners, and I have had a hard time finding any gum locally that does not contain them. Peppermint Chiclets is perfect for me! It tastes great and doesn't leave a bad after taste. Since I can't find it locally, I enjoy the convenience of buying it by the box from Amazon. In fact, since I have free 2 day shipping with Amazon Prime, I am ordering several other grocery items from Amazon now. No tax, no shipping charge, and better prices makes it a win-win situation for me!

I remember Chiclets from my childhood, many, many years ago. They were a treat then and they are a treat now. I love the combination of the candy shell melting away from the refreshing gum. They are almost impossible to fnd in stores, but luckily Amazon and Penguin are there to fill the gap.

On my quest to find a gum that doesn't' have one of those chemical sweeteners in it I ran across Chiclets. They are great tasting, and last a long time. I also like that I can put one piece or more depending on how much I want to chew. Sometimes I just need a little something.
If you are looking for a gum that doesn't have aspartame in it Chiclets are a good choice.
