I had Lasik surgery and Refresh preservative free drops was recommended. I loved the single usage, but after a year still had consistent dry eyes and started having problems with eye strain. I was then given Blink Tears to try and was surprised how lubricating it felt. It has been 2 days and I haven't experienced any more eye strain while using the computer and haven't felt the need to put in drops every other hour due to dry, irritated eyes.
The drops feel thicker than regular drops, but not as thick as eye gel drops.

I just got LASIK two months ago, and was looking for a good eye drop that I could use as an alternative to the single-use Refresh Plus drops. Through some research, I learned that Blink Tears are supposedly very effective eye drops for reducing the occurence of higher-order aberrations caused by LASIK, resulting in sharper, clearer vision throughout the day. The active ingredient is the same as in Systane drops, but it's much more affordable.
I've been using Blink Tears for about a week now, and can honestly say that it makes my eyes more comfortable and my vision crisper throughout the day. Overall, it's a lot thicker than Refresh Plus, so there is a brief moment of cloudiness/stickiness when I apply the drops, but they do seem to last a while. However, because of the thickness, there is no "instant relief" when my eyes are feeling particularly dry -- unlike with Rfresh, I don't feel that they are as good at "moisturizing" my eyes.
I would recommend these drops to post-LASIK people looking for a good, semi-gel kind of drop, but not for someone who needs a "moisturizing" drop for dry environments.

They're a little pricey, but well worth it. After my LASIK surgery, these are the drops that kept my eyes feeling great. I continue to use them, even though my post-LASIK dry eye symptoms have decreased.

This product usually retails for $15 or more in any pharmacy store. I actually was unable to find this in this size any where but here on Amazon. This is a great product for dry eyes especially if you work in a dry environment.

These drops made it possible for me to wear contacts comfortably again. My optometrist gave them to me after she couldn't figure out why I was experiencing so much pain with contacts. I couldn't even wear them for a minute without wanting to take them out. Now I use these whenever I'm not wearing contacts so that it's easier to put them back in and then I use Blink for contact lenses to keep pain from chronic dry eye away. I used these with contacts at first also, but they seem to feel somewhat thicker than the ones for contacts, so I guess you could use these with contacts, but I just prefer to have one for and without contacts.
