Great product!Dec 23, 2008
By J. Zolli For some reason, I tend to get frequent infections on my skin. Bacteria have a field day with me. Betadine takes care of it, time after time. I haven't run into anything so far that Betadine hasn't been able to help with (including the initial stages of impetigo) or cure (including infected splinters and boils). Gentle on the skin, tough on bacteria.

The besy facial cleanser in the world!Mar 10, 2010

"rox"
Long time user of betadine foaming skin cleanser. A must for anyone who doesn't want to waste money on useless skin products and anti-bacterial chemicals. Betadine works for almost 24 hours killing bacteria that causes staph and virus activity. Its what a surgeon scrubs up with before an operation! I use it on my face when in the shower and on my upper back and chest area. It leaves no smell or orange stain but leaves nice clean bacteria fighting skin without the drying affects that many skin cleansers and products do.

Good product to control under arm "issues"Jul 21, 2010
By C. Visa For those out there that struggle with similar underarm issues especially when they exercise, you may want to try using this product to cleanse under the arms. It disinfects and kills bacteria that naturally accumulates under the arms. To most people this is simply manageable with soap and deodorant but to some it can be a challenge to control with typical methods. This product is very effective to control underarm "issues!" It is safe and with regular use there is even no need to use deodorant even when you exercise. At least this has been my experience. Deodorant can contain chemicals that are not very safe to our bodies, so using this skin cleanser is an added benefit if you worry about the use of deodorant.
I hope this helps someone out there that may be looking for an effective way to control this "issue" with their underarms. I added a link of some person that also used it with positive results. [...]

Beauty in a BottleNov 29, 2011
By Allene Don't confused Betadine SKIN CLEANSER with the Betadine used in the operating room.
Betadine Skin Cleanser, when used with a facial BuffPuff, will make blackheads disappear! How does this work? The Betadine and Puff remove the oxidized oils from the surface of the pore. Also, it kills the bacteria on the skin preventing most future skin outbreaks. The combination of puff and Batadine soap exfoliates the skin. I have been using it for over 25 years and have passed on this information to three generations in my family. However, it only makes skin beautiful is used EVERY NIGHT! Caution: It can stain so lean way over the sink! It is not available at all pharmacies, so go to Amazon.com for a quick purchase at a good price!

Didn't clear up sores any more quickly than Neosporin.Nov 08, 2011
By Tree Squirrel I used this cleanser on a dog scratch on my leg. The scratch didn't look any better after three days and was still sore. I used a thick spread of Neosporin on the wound and covered it with a Band-Aide --worked much better than the Betadine. I also tried the Betadine on my face to help clear my acne, again with no results after two weeks. While this product may help some skin types, I found it to be disappointing for my needs. I did like that it didn't sting or dry my skin, but an antibacterial soap produces the same results on my skin without the bright red color.
