You pay a little more but last the longest. The other brands I tried, dry out to quickly because of the thin packaging, if they become creased. These are thicker, bigger, and hold alot more alcohol. I also use these for sanitizing my hands before being served at restaurants. If the kids scratch themselves, I wipe the scratch or small cut with this first, then bandage if necessary. Great for getting permanent marker stains off of your hands. Used also to remove food stains on your shirt or blouse. Test on material, first. Had no problems with cotton, or 60/40 cotton mix. Your may see different results. If it does not completely remove stain it will break it down until your next wash or dry clean. DO NOT USE ON MONITOR SCREENS. It has 70% alcohol content. It will remove any protective coatings. Blah, Blah, Blah.

BD Alcohol Swabs Thicker, Softer, 100 Individually Foil Wrapped
I have used the BD Alcohol swabs for over six years, they are soft and strong and they don't dry out while you are getting your other things set up to use, a great product for a lot of jobs.

Purchased alcohol swabs because I am type 2 diabetic and take blood/sugar readings three times a day. The BD alcohol swabs I purchased are better than those that I had been using in the past. They are thicker and contain more alcohol so that they insure a germ free area of skin at the puncture point thus aiding in not developing pucture wound tissue from the introduction of germs under the skin after repeated puctures in the same area over time.

"Old Grouch"
The swabs are rather small, but easy to use. Twin packs, so two foir wrapped swabs per "grab", still, you can open one at a time. Decent price.

I got these for use in RC helicopter hobby. I always clean screws with alcohol before loctiting and installation. For big jobs i still get out a bottle and a rag but for just a few screws I grab one of these. Also way more convienient to have some of these in my field box instead of a whole bottle. I really like the thickness as it seems to hold more alcohol and stays wet longer. Also they are pretty strong so they stand up to the hobby use. As a test I swabbed my entire hand front and back (i have large hands). There was enough alcohol to clean my whole hand and then some with just one swab.
