I had dried cracked heals that was so bad that I could barely walk. I had to tip toe to avoid pain. My doctor prescribed this product. The first time I put on my heels I new this product was going to help. Depending what time of year I will use it twice a day. I also gently file the skin on the heels for mainatance. Bottom line. I have happy feet. For me a one pound bottle last for about a year. Great stuff

This is the absolute best lotion for dry, cracked, scaly skin. It only takes a small amount to cover arm, leg, etc. Highly recommend.

I've had dry, scaly skin (technically called ichthyosis) since birth. As you can imagine, I've tried probably every product on the market in several decades, both prescription and not. My dermatologist finally prescribed 12% ammonium lactate cream in a squeeze tube a few years ago, and it was better than anything else I had tried. Of course, now it is available over the counter in the lotion form, which this product is. It is relatively inexpensive, and does the job. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a similar problem.

This stuff is great! My doc also prescribed this, and after a week, 2x a day, my feet look much better. I don't have trouble walking or bleeding coming from my heals or sides of my feet.
