 Only Aluminum-Free Product that WorksAug 19, 2009

About two years ago I couldn't stop itching my underarms. I had rashes and had no idea why. I changed my soaps and bought fresh deodorants. After nothing worked, I did a LOT of research online and discovered I'm allergic to aluminum. Since then I have tried numerous products and have done hours upon hours of research to find a deodorant product that would work and that I wouldn't be allergic to. I thought Tom's of Maine was the best product available, but it really doesn't work. It feels like gel and it just did not do much of anything. It was as if I wasn't wearing deodorant at all. After about a year of Tom's still not working, I was totally skeptical, but being desperate, I went out to find the Adidas Cotton Tech Pure Lightness. I purchased it feeling like I was wasting my money, but it really does work. I've been using it for about two months now and it is the best product of deodorant that is aluminum-free. Although it doesn't say "aluminum-free" on the packaging, read the ingredients and you'll see it truly is. My underarm rashes have finally gone away. I work outside for my job and sweat a lot, and sometimes I feel self conscious and reapply some more deodorant in the afternoon time, but it really is the best product. I think it may take a week or two for your skin to get used to not having an antiperspirant, but I've been working outside in 90degree weather and it has not let me down. I really recommend this product.

It is nearly impossible to find an aluminum-free deodorant.
Not only is this one aluminum-free, but it works great too.
It is being discontinued so stock up!!

Adidas cotton tech works great and has no aluminum which is what I am looking for... very hard to find.

I tried to purchase the Adidas 1.6 oz. 0% Aluminum Free 24 hour absorbent deodorant which was the pictured product. However, I was shipped Adidas cotton tech+ 2.6 oz. absorbent deodorant. There is nothing on the cotton tech product which states it is aluminum free!!! I called the customer service department and explained I had received a different product than their picture displayed. I felt I should not have to pay for return shipping since it was their error in advertising. They advised me to try the product. I let them know I could go to my local Walgreen store and purchase the same product. They have just lost an internet customer.
