I have to bandage the lower half of both legs every day. I started with suport hose but it was too much effort of a 81 year old man. Then used ace bandages with clips to hold - then switched to ace bandages with velcro binding - that has worked very well for me.

I have been using this ace for over a year on top of a Unnaboot dressing on my leg. It has been the only treatment we have found to finish up healing a skin graft on my knee The velcro is very strong and holds for the full 3 days on my left knee 24 hr/day between dressing changes.I HIGHLY recommend buying them on the net. Both local pharmacies want a 200% markup !!!!!

I have lymphedema in my legs and spent a lot of money on support hose. They irritated my legs and didn't support me as much as these bandages have. I have tried other brands and other types of bandages and ONLY these have worked for me. The velco holds and while I have about four for the work week, they have lasted me for a little over a year. These are definitely worth buying and are good for those with sensitive skin, too. The ones with the clips - while the bandage, itself does its magic, the clips pop off and not so with the velco. With my legs as big as they are, if the velco was going to undo itself, it would. Buy this product and you won't be disappointed.

Ace puts out trustworthy products, and this one does what it says. I wrap two around each thigh before sports to prevent hamstring injuries. They stay put and do good work without those annoying hooks. However, the velcro strip in a bit thin and does not hold under pressure. To remedy this, I tuck the velcro under another layer of the bandage, and it stays. I use these twice a week and buy new ones every three months or so. I prefer them to a neoprene thigh sleeve which slips down my leg when I perspire.

I would rate this a 2 star if I hadn't been aware of the velcro only being on 1 end prior to purchase. But still...
The ace bandage itself is nice and has the standard level of quality ace bandages have always had.
HOWEVER... it is rather annoying (understatement) that ACE would choose to only put velcro on one end of the bandage. I'm curious if whoever spec'd this product has ever used it, because if they had they would know how poorly designed a bandage with velcro only at one end is.
To understand why this is an issue... an ace bandage like this one is meant to be re-used over and over again... when you roll up the bandage for storage, it is immensely helpful to have a piece of velcro at the end of the wrap to prevent the bandage from unrolling (call this end 'A'). The other end of the bandage (at the center of the roll, call this end 'B') is where the 2nd piece of velcro is also needed -- when wrapping the bandage onto a body part, end 'B' is the last part of the wrap the must have a piece of velcro to hold the bandage tight on your body. Hence... a two ended bandage is useful and needed.
I would not have wasted my life energy typing this review if I could have found and ordered a silly bandage with velcro on both ends.
Please ACE... fix this lack of design.
