I never bought into the premise that a cream could do anything to make one look younger. But I was feeling a little down one day and decided to blow some bucks on an eye cream to see if it could improve the under-eye crepiness (hey, I'm almost 50!).
I chose the Garnier because it was a little cheaper than the other brands and I've enjoyed several other Garnier hair products. I've been using it nightly for just over two weeks and am surprised to find that I actually do see a difference!
I wash my face nightly, pat my face dry and dot a small amount around each eye, gently massaging it in.
The crepey undereye skin appears much tighter, and the lines at the outside corners of the eyes are noticeably smaller! I wish I'd taken a before and after pic, but I do know what I saw in the mirror two weeks ago and it's much less pronounced now!
For $11 - 13, it seems like this will last a couple of months, at least, so I'd definitely recommend it to the over 40 ladies. Enjoy!

A couple of years ago, my 20-year-old daughter and I were walking in downtown Minneapolis and came across a person handing out coupons for Garnier eye cream. The woman handed one to my daughter and three to me! From this action, I concluded that I was in desperate need of a new eye cream! So I bought this product, and found it to be every bit as good (possibly better) than the $25 cream I had been using for years. It is non-greasy, feels great and probably is helping keep wrinkles at bay. I use it in the morning and at night and because it's reasonably priced, I feel I can use it generously. Recommend!!

The reason I gave this 2 stars instead of 1 star is that to be fair, I'm sure it works different for every person and maybe my experience was unique. I got a sample size of this for free (I don't remember from where, I just remember that it was sample size and I got it for free after buying a bunch of other make-up) and decided to go ahead and try it out. I liked the texture of it as well as the scent, but that is as far as my love for it goes. I normally love the rest of Garnier's line, but I had an allergic reaction. I put it on at night before I went to bed and my eyes swelled up so bad that when I went to get up the next morning my eyes were literally swollen shut. I kept trying to open my eyes and they wouldn't open. My husband woke up to take a look at me and actually screamed- hey, we was just waking up and he looks over at his wife and there is nothing but angry red puffiness and tears streaming from the tiny slits in the puffs where her eyes were supposed to be. I tried washing my eyes out but it made no difference. I had to go to the hospital and get a anti-histamine shot. I later tried an even smaller amount around my eyes for only a few minutes to see if I had just used it wrong and shouldn't have put it on over night, and my eyes started turnin red and puffing up again even after I washed it off and I took Benadryl to stop the reaction. My eyes looked great after that, but my eye care routine should not include Benadryl, lol!

So the stuff feels nice on your face but does little to help with wrinkles. It will give your skin a "freshed" feeling but little more. I am still using it and a little goes a long way, however the jar is about gone and again no real improvements whatsoever. Also I want to add that i am 29 with only very very fine lines and it didn't even help those.

I had been using this product for months before the skin around my eyes begain to turn red, dry and puffy. Not thinking it was the eye cream since I had been using it for a while without problem, I continued to use it, even using more to try and combat the dryness. The condition worsened and spread and then started around my other eye. My skin became very red, swollen and sore, even itchy. It looks like I was punched in the eye recently. I went to the Garnier site and read reviews from other users who had very similar reactions to this product. Not sure if the formula changed or if it was prolonged use that finally set my skin off but I had to go to a dermatologist and am now being treated for the reaction to this cream. I have never had an allergic reaction to any products before, don't suffer from seasonal allergies or other, generally I am allergy free. With so many people having a bad reaction to this eye cream Garnier needs to do something to either change the product or pull it. I am very hesitant to continue use of any of their products at this point.
